lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the resolution for equal pay in the work place because I believe in gender equality. I have been concerned about the widening of the pay gap in some Member States, and am of the opinion that the principle of equal pay for equal work is fundamental to achieving full gender quality. It worries me that the gender pay gap is currently at 16.2 %, and I am aware that unequal pay rates have been a persistent problem throughout the EU. I hope that this resolution will play a part in closing the gap and securing equal pay for all."@en1
