lpv:spoken text	"I have campaigned since my election in 1999 for official status for the Welsh language. It was a huge step forward when Welsh was awarded co-official status. However, as an official language in Wales it should also be official in the EU. If it were, of course, there would be interpreters from Wales in the Welsh booth in the Parliament. Whilst I supported this report because of the situation of the EU budget, I will continue to work for equality for the Welsh language with the other languages of Europe."@en1
