It looks at the important issue of energy efficiency measures in cohesion policy and assesses the results of measures in place in the current programming period. The report also proposes important recommendations to strengthen the impact of energy efficiency measures in the next round of funding. I also welcome the recommendation in the report that calls for European objectives to complement those at national level. Ensuring that energy efficiency measures are fully implemented within cohesion policy is vital to helping achieve EU2020 targets."@en1
