Political dialogue with the Atlantic Basin region is important to tackle cross-border issues such as human trafficking, the illegal drugs trade and environmental protection. The EU has several ongoing trade negotiations with countries and regions in the Atlantic Basin and a reinvigorated Transatlantic partnership will provider a wider forum to tackle sensitive political issues."@en1
