"I voted in favour of this report. The Greens/EFA Group has long been calling for the adoption of a mathematic formula to allocate the seats between Member States in an objective, fair, durable and transparent way, based on the principle of degressive proportionality. In Wales we currently have four MEPs, which means we are under-represented. If Wales was an independent Member State, we would be entitled to nine MEPs. Until that time we support a fairer system of calculation for the Member States."@en1
