I regret that this was passed by a majority in Parliament, meaning that the database will now be open for law enforcement access. This will mean that asylum seekers and refugees can be treated as criminals upon arrival. It is important to us in Wales that those fleeing persecution or oppression are treated with respect rather than viewed as potential criminals."@en1
