"Fostering the educational and occupational mobility of women can contribute to the achievement of the Europe 2020 target of raising the employment rate of 75% for women and women. Research indicates that strong gender stereotyping in education adds to gender segregation in the labour market, in relation to both sectors and occupations, and must be tackled. The Commission and the Member States should monitor and report on how EU funds focusing on education and training, occupational and educational mobility and on increasing labour market participation are being taken up by women and men and better address the imbalances that have arisen. We should consider establishing a European Counselling Service Network to help local communities deal with this issue by providing information, know-how and guidance regarding the integration of women. We need to attract women from an early stage into key sectors with a high job potential across Europe, in particular the green economy, the health and social care sector and the digital economy, including by better supporting mobile workers with families, addressing access to education and childcare, social security and community services."@en1
