The aim is to establish an efficient mechanism to ensure that protection measures taken in civil matters in any Member State can be circulated throughout the EU for quick and easy recognition. This is extremely important when a person who has protection moves or travels to another Member State. This is an issue that constituents in Wales have raised with me in the past and I welcome moves to make the system more effective to ensure the protection of individuals who may be at risk."@en1
