lpv:spoken text	"An estimated EUR 1 trillion of EU public money is lost each year to tax fraud and tax avoidance and not enough is being done at national and European level to combat this. I support the measures in this report that highlight the need for greater transparency of tax payments and greater international action on the issue. It is also vitally important to ensure that companies operating in the EU fulfil their tax obligations and this is something that should be addressed as a matter of utmost importance. This report calls for a clear definition and a common set of criteria to identify tax havens and with the UK responsible for one in five of the world’s tax havens, I believe this is a vital step that would take tough action on tax evasion and avoidance."@en1
