lpv:spoken text	"The last two decades have witnessed an unprecedented growth in air travel. Indeed, Heathrow Airport in my London constituency is at full capacity, reportedly servicing 70 million passengers per year. I am therefore delighted that the EU and Eurocontrol have agreed upon a general framework for enhanced cooperation in the field of air navigation. Crucially, extended cooperation will serve to accommodate increasing air traffic flows, whilst improving performance. During a time of economic hardship across the European Union, inefficiencies must be reduced and with Eurocontrol reporting extra costs of around EUR 5 billion per year due to inefficiencies in Europe’s fragmented airspace, I am confident that enhanced cooperation will also facilitate significant savings. I am also certain that this agreement will go far to aid the successful implementation of the Single European Sky."@en1
