lpv:spoken text	"Today’s report signals that Croatia is well prepared for EU accession this summer and has a strong social market economy as well as strong democratic principles. However, it is important to highlight the need for further modernisation of the country in order for Croatians to feel the full benefit of EU membership. In particular, I am pleased that Croatia is preparing adequately for the future management of EU structural funds in the country and I urge Croatia to do its utmost to avoid the risk of corruption and fraud in the allocation and use of EU funds. I also echo calls from the rapporteur for the country to continue making efficient use of the Instrument for pre Accession in the run up to joining the EU. Furthermore, I believe that Croatia can play a vital role in stabilisation and European integration in the Western Balkans and finally I urge those member states that have not approved Croatia’s accession to do so as soon as possible."@en1
