We want to see the abolition of the ETS. The Liese report went through several versions until the ‘Final Version 3’ on the day. Our tactical position on the final version of the voting list aimed to block, slow down, and discredit the EU ETS are much as possible. We achieved this by successfully sending the report back to committee and defeating the Commission’s so-called backloading position. The whole matter is now one of vigorous debate which can only be good for democracy."@en1
