lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of Parliament’s resolution on the multiannual financial framework (MFF) because I reject the European Council’s conclusions on the MFF of 7-8 February 2013, as it completely disregards Parliament’s role and competences. Further, it does not reflect the priorities that are necessary to achieve job creation and sustainable economic development. This not withstanding, I strongly disagree with the call for the introduction of new genuine own resources and that revenues from a financial transaction tax should be allocated to the EU budget. Equally, I do not support the proposal to make full use of the passerelle clause of Article 312(2) TFEU, which would transfer power from the Member States to EU level. I tabled amendments to delete these parts of the MFF resolution and my vote in favour of the resolution as a whole is not to be taken as support for these parts, but rather, only for the view that the European Council’s conclusion should be rejected."@en1
