lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, which recognises the plight of women in the wake of the financial crisis and suggests ways of improving their prospects. Across Europe, women have been disproportionately affected by austerity budgets imposed in recent years, with many being forced to work shorter hours because of cuts to education and childcare services. The EU should work hard to combat these adverse consequences of economic insecurity, offsetting the precariousness of female employment with investment in training, entrepreneurship and childcare facilities. The adoption of this report is an encouraging first step towards achieving these goals."@en1
