lpv:spoken text	"I am in support of this report, which amends the 2006 directive. It will enable the EU to step up action against tax fraud and evasion. Due to this report, Member States would be able to quickly implement emergency measures in cases of sudden and massive fraud. This would be an improvement on the current situation where Member States who want to counter incidents of fraud with measures not provided for under normal VAT rules have to obtain a derogation from the VAT Directive. The report would allow the Commission to grant a derogation within a month of the receipt of a complete request. Thus Member States would become more efficient in blocking fraud schemes and limiting losses."@en1
