lpv:spoken text	"I fully support this report, which calls on the Commission to implement measures which encourage large companies and multinationals to improve the level of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in their business models. The economic crisis has damaged consumer trust in businesses, particularly in terms of their ethical standards, so it is important to take steps to ensure that businesses conduct their affairs in a responsible manner, which will in turn encourage competitiveness and innovation. Establishing adequate levels of CSR is an integral component in restoring trust in big business and I agree that practices which undermine public perception of multinationals - such as excessive bonuses and 'green-washing' - have no place in socially responsible business and should be eradicated."@en1
