lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report. If monetary union is to work, there need to be proper financial instruments in place to oversee it and regulate it. A report that I commissioned in 2000 recommended certain safeguards should Wales choose to join the Euro, and proper regulation is clearly one of those. Even though we never joined the Euro, the crisis has an impact on our economy, and it is in everyone’s interest that the options for public debt instruments are examined as soon as possible and that a roadmap is adopted."@en1
