lpv:spoken text	"As a member of the European Parliament for Northern Ireland I welcome the adoption of this report on allocation of airport slots as a means by which to protect connectivity between the regions of the EU and hub airports. I tabled a number of amendments to this report relating to the issue as connectivity and I am pleased that many were included in the final report. We must continue to support the creation and maintenance of links between regional airports and hub airports. Connectivity is an essential aspect of any economy and it is particularly important to us in Northern Ireland. We must have a means by which to protect our links to hub airports such as Heathrow if we are to encourage international investment and economic growth in our Province."@en1
