lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I would like to raise two points. The first is the importance of the slots for regional airports, so that they are totally connected to the hub airport. I think this is very important, and where I come from in Northern Ireland it is extremely important for our business links and for many other areas to ensure our economy is effective. Another issue I want to raise is the noise issue. Because it has just come to my attention that the 2002 directive which provided for a special category for city airports, and covered all airports, does not apply where there are less than 50 000 air traffic movements. George Best City Airport comes under that and in actual fact this would create a terrible burden for the people of East Belfast at this present time if they did not have that noise control. So I would ask the Commission maybe even at this late stage...."@en1
