lpv:spoken text	"The Commission is looking at the obstacles to a fully functioning digital single market and how they could be overcome. At this time of economic crisis this is vital work. Businesses in Wales have been severely hampered by lack of access to high speed broadband connections. As a result they could not take advantage of the possibilities of the digital economy. I welcome the Commission’s announcement of an action plan to strengthen and facilitate the development of ICT infrastructure. This will help in terms of job creation but also in terms of education and training. It is essential for rural and urban areas. That is why I voted for the report."@en1
