I support this report, which aims to adapt the regulations to the provisions of Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union on the introduction of delegated acts into European law. The report aims at enabling the European Parliament, as a directly elected representative of the EU citizens, to bring into full effect its newly-acquired powers and to carry out proper parliamentary control of the executive."@en1
