In all cases, compromise solutions must be adopted for the effective management of Baltic salmon stocks. Furthermore, it is very important for scientific research to be carried out in this field on a constant basis and for a full control mechanism to be established. I believe that the proposal to limit stocking must be assessed very carefully and comprehensive studies must be carried out because its adoption may have negative consequences and reduce salmon stocks even further."@en1
