I can honestly say that in order to build a long, stable and lasting peace, we have to build confidence. I do not think we will build confidence by pursuing agendas other than building confidence between the two actors in this particular issue. We need to look at what Israel needs in order for it to get back to the negotiating table as much as we need to look at the Palestinian issue as well. So it is a matter of building confidence; it is a matter of being an honest broker and of ensuring that we are even-handed in what we do."@en1
