lpv:translated text	"− I voted in favour of this report as it is an accurate summary of the activities of the Committee on Petitions. In 2011 there were numerous petitions on different topics, including greater transparency of the workings of the EU institutions and the Spanish Coastal Law, which was the subject of a large number of petitions. The report also highlights the need to simplify the administrative procedures for submitting petitions in order to make it easier for European citizens to access the EP’s Committee on Petitions. For these reasons, I voted in favour of the report."@en1
