It is particularly interesting that a whole section has been dedicated to public opinion and how the citizens should be reassured or, should I say, quietened down. Even though the European Parliament did not allow shale gas to be considered in the fight against climate change, which marked an important victory for the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, the end result did not allow me to agree with my Group.
