"We voted in favour of the decision of the European Parliament and of the Council to mobilise the European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) for the people of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, which was struck by a series of earthquakes in May 2012 that caused several deaths and serious damage to homes, factories, agricultural land and over 100 historically significant heritage sites. The European Commission has proposed assistance for an amount of EUR 670 192 359 in commitment and payment appropriations. We obviously supported this proposal."@en1
