lpv:translated text	"At the sitting of 21 November, we voted in favour of the Draft Amending Budget No 5 and the mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund to the tune of EUR 670 million to assist the region of Emilia-Romagna, which was hit by a series of earthquakes. On 20 May 2012, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 on the Richter scale affected wide parts of northern Italy and caused severe damage in the region of Emilia-Romagna. On 29 May, a second earthquake occurred: 27 people died, 350 people were injured and over 45 000 people had to be evacuated. Francesca Balzani’s report was adopted by a large majority: 672 votes to 19, with 7 abstentions. I welcome that result."@en1
