lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I wish to explain my vote in favour because I believe that monitoring the application of Community law is one of the important tools that allows the European Parliament, the Commission and the Council to combat the effects of the crisis. In my opinion, the obligations in the EU Treaties have not been fulfilled correctly and the procedures were preferential and biased. Articles 258 and 260 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union state that if a Member State has failed to fulfil an obligation under the Treaty, they may be subject to infringement proceedings. Unfortunately, this has not happened, and that is why I believe that it is absolutely necessary to revise the regulations."@en1
