While the CAP currently has several types of promotion measures in place, it is important to expand these measures to encourage economic growth in the agri-food sector. The European agri-food sector has the ability to prosper and assist economic stabilisation in the Member States, and developing more extensive promotion measures both for the internal European market and for external market shares.
