I agree with this report which provides for amendments to the Directive in terms of allowing European citizens residing in Member States of which they are not nationals to vote in European elections. I think it is another decisive step towards the achievement of a genuine European political space, although supervision and control mechanisms are needed in order to prevent double voting.
