lpv:translated text	". I would like to stress the importance of innovative financial instruments in the realisation of projects through which the Union’s strategic objectives are to be achieved. I am convinced of the contribution they could make, at both national and EU level, to ensuring sustainable and inclusive growth. In particular those outlined by the Europe 2020 strategy, which describes non-discriminatory instruments that respect the principles of sound financial management, improve the quality of spending and ensure optimal use of financial resources. To ensure a sufficient level of effectiveness and speed of implementation, I believe it is necessary to make sure that the legal framework is simple and transparent, so that the objectives of transparency and monitoring of financial instruments may be effectively pursued. Trusting that innovative financial instruments will have a positive impact as an effective means of public support and hoping that they may have better legal definition, I voted in favour."@en1
