As others have shown, there is definitely room for further improvement in the implementation of legislation on electoral finance. The EU has also drawn attention to problems associated with the judicial system, but in recent years good work has been done in Georgia to combat corruption and improve public services. Turnout in elections and the evident operation of civil society have also been very encouraging signs of democratic values taking root in the country. I would like to ask the Commission what the operational plan is for the visa liberalisation dialogue between the EU and Georgia that began in the summer, and what the next steps are on the road of reform."@en1
