". I voted against this resolution because reciprocity in trade between the European Union and Japan is not respected. That is particularly true with regard to railways and public transport, where European undertakings have great difficulty in gaining access to Japanese public procurement. At the same time, Japanese undertakings are able to submit public procurement tenders in European territory, which is unacceptable. Lastly, I am concerned about the effects of this trade agreement on the French automotive market, which is already seriously disrupted."@en1
