lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report as I believe that goods produced in the EU should be protected from unfair competition. The argument used by the European Court of Justice and mentioned in the report maintained that it was impossible to conduct adequate anti-dumping proceedings due to the short three-month period imposed by the legislation. I therefore think it is positive that this report is now seeking to amend that legislation so that anti-dumping proceedings may be conducted effectively by the authorities. The protection of European industry was my reason for voting in favour of this report."@en1
