". During the plenary I supported Mr Hudghton’s report on the conservation and sustainable exploitation of fisheries resources under the Common Fisheries Policy. This report was adopted by a large majority of 658 votes. I applaud this. The aim of this report is to extend the time limit on the current 12-mile access regime until the entry into force of the new regulation on the common fisheries policy (CFP)."@en1
