lpv:translated text	". − I voted in favour of this report as I believe that greater attention should be paid to good management of fishing zones and resources. I agree with the rapporteur that the coastal zones should be extended. I consider that it is extremely important for the reform to allow Member States to take more management decisions. That would enable them to cooperate on a regional basis. At the same time, I believe that the intended reform should move in the direction of a decentralised regime focusing on the implementation of these matters. As the 12-mile zones have worked well so far, their extension is welcome. We need to reform the common fisheries policy so that it can work to its maximum potential."@en1
