lpv:translated text	"I fully support this resolution, which provides a very concise description of the state of trade and economic relations between the EU and the United States. It underlines the importance of this bilateral relationship, the largest in the world, and proposes a very detailed plan to address all of the aspects that need to be improved. Indeed, the potential of this transatlantic relationship is far from being fully harnessed. That is why I am in favour of the resolution. I wish to offer my support for the removal of non-tariff barriers and regulatory incompatibilities, which would, amongst other things, bring about a significant increase in the GDP of the EU and the United States, and would obviously have a decisive impact on growth and jobs. In these times of crisis, close cooperation between the EU and the United States is necessary."@en1
