"This report enjoyed widespread support within the European Parliament and was adopted. In an effort to offer relief to small and medium-sized enterprises, this text aims to make them more competitive. Having managed a business myself, I am aware of the difficulties, particularly the administrative difficulties, that are imposed on small businesses, and that is why I voted in favour of this text, which is a step towards simplification. It also aims to reinforce the entrepreneurial potential of young people, women and migrants. Any action that strengthens the competitiveness of these businesses will put the European Union back on the path to jobs and growth."@en1
