lpv:translated text	"− The Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the State of Israel, of the other part, on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products seeks to remove the technical barriers to trade in industrial products between the European Union and Israel. The European Parliament had to grant its consent in this process. I do not agree with the political blocking of the agreement with reference to human rights violations in Israel, since there is no jurisdiction for such an approach within the agreement. I therefore support the agreement, which in economic and trade terms will have positive effects on the Member States of our Union."@en1
