This action is necessary to avoid the worsening of an already complex employment situation in Galicia. In particular, new orders in the shipbuilding sector fell by 43 % in 2011, and considering the specific conditions of the region I think that the fund should be mobilised in order to assist in the reintegration of the workers made redundant, and to provide rapid and effective assistance to the local labour market.
