lpv:translated text	"This report by Monica Luisa Macovei concerns discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget of the European Environment Agency (EEA) for the financial year 2010, following the European Parliament Decision of 10 May 2012 postponing the discharge decision due to issues raised by the Court of Auditors. The EEA, which was created in 1993, currently has 32 members: the 27 Member States of the European Union, together with Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Turkey. Its objective is to help the EU and national governments make informed decisions about the environment. The Court of Auditors, in its report on the EEA accounts, considered that ‘it has obtained reasonable assurances that the annual accounts for the financial year 2010 are reliable’ and that the underlying transactions are legal and regular. I therefore consider that discharge should be granted for the EEA budget for the financial year 2010."@en1
