The SES is designed to reduce journey times, thereby reducing CO emissions and the cost of flights, while improving safety and creating jobs. It is important to use all of the means available to us to manage European air traffic effectively and ensure that consumers do not waste any more time or money. Some 328 000 jobs are at stake, and they are very important, particularly during a crisis.
