During this period, the European Union has allocated considerable resources to the Cohesion Fund, which has allowed a great deal of investment in infrastructure and environmental measures, including in my province of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. This investment has largely been completed and must now be accounted for in the EU budget. That is why the 2013 budget cannot reflect only planned objectives for that specific year, but must also include funds to cover investments made in previous years.
