lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I voted in favour of this report as I consider that reforming the own resources system in the European Union represents a step forward. Moreover, I am of the opinion that own resources, based on VAT, have significant potential to contribute positively to the Union’s budget. The tax could help to reduce the level of contributions of the Member States. Moreover, the new system will bring significant advantages, as well as greater transparency, flexibility, security and predictability. Member States will benefit from equal treatment, and the administrative load will be reduced. However, there are some disadvantages in this process that need to be considered; the methodology is a complex one and not easy to simplify. The own resources system is very important and reforming it demands attention."@en1
