"I voted in favour of this text on setting up an information exchange mechanism with regard to intergovernmental agreements between Member States and third countries that are likely to have an impact on the internal market for energy or on the security of energy supply. This system will improve transparency in the energy market and, thus, allow us to anticipate energy supply problems in Europe. Member States will have to submit to the Commission all existing bilateral agreements with third countries."@en1
