lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report on the report on better legislation, which aims to simplify EU law and reduce administrative and regulatory burdens. This report proposes sensible measures and I welcome its adoption. I particularly support the idea that there is a dire need for the 2003 interinstitutional agreement on better law making to be updated, taking into consideration the changing European legislative environment. I approve the recommendation for measures on subsidiarity controls carried out by national parliaments. I think that a follow-up needs to be made to amend legislation identified as being possible to ameliorate and to combat the practice of ‘gold plating’."@en1
