One such advantage is the production and marketing of high quality agricultural products. I believe the current proposal will enable European farmers to benefit from additional means of communicating to consumers essential details of the products they purchase. It will also improve the functioning of national and private certification systems. This will have a significant impact on Romanian farmers and producers. Establishing a traditional specialities guaranteed scheme will stimulate traditional production methods and recipes. At the moment, many Romanian producers are unable to promote their recipes and products that provide added value. Last but not least, I believe that simplifying marketing standards and place-of-farming labelling will have a positive impact on the European consumers."@en1
