lpv:spoken text	"This is an important piece of legislation as it will allow the EU to impose sanctions on countries that fish unsustainably on fish stocks that are important to the EU. The EU will now be able to prohibit imports of fish that it considers to have been fished unsustainably by the exporting country. Certain states have so far been unwilling to enact internationally agreed measures to preserve fish stocks but, as a major market for fish products, the EU is well placed to challenge them. This legislation will enable us to do that."@en1
