lpv:translated text	"Mr President, the four reports that have been adopted today clearly demonstrate Parliament’s desire to make a decisive contribution to supporting the fisheries sector, which is currently beset by major difficulties. I voted in favour because I feel there is a vital need for coordinated action, just as I also believe that an approach involving regionalisation is absolutely essential in order to tailor this action to the needs of individual areas. We need to trim down the industry, expand market opportunities, enable fleets to modernise and ensure that there is real modernisation and growth in the sector, in which environmental sustainability must go hand in hand with economic profitability. We await the framework regulation and finally the implementing dossier on the funding for the further acceleration that we think is needed."@en1
