"I supported this own-initiative report by voting in favour because I believe it is vital to make every effort to counter discrimination against women, in particular, in the world of work.
This report looks specifically at the fight against discrimination against women in the green economy, which is a new and growing sector with enormous potential, especially considering the serious crisis we are experiencing.
I therefore agree with both the appeal for Member States to organise specialist training courses in areas such as renewable energy, and with promoting information campaigns on programmes financed by the EU to increase participation of women in jobs in the green economy."@en1
